After reviewing 8 different options for our camp and based on costs, availability, and amenities, it has been decided to try Rondalyn Camping and RV Resort for our 2023 summer camp.  The planned dates run Friday, July 7th to Friday, July 14th.  You can book for whatever period of time suits you.

2022 Costs are as follows:                    Power and Water only sites (PW)              $47.50 plus taxes                                                                 Power, Water, Sewer sites (PWS)              $56.18 plus taxes                                                                 Power, Water, Sewer, Cable (PWSC)        $61.43 plus taxes

2023 rates will be a little higher.  I did ask and they do follow the stay six nights and get the 7th night free policy.

The upper level “tent” area, sites T1 to T13 are all currently available.  Not all the sites are good for trailers, but most are.  There is a small sheltered area in the middle of the circle that is available if needed.

As of Monday, September 19th, there are 15 full hook-up sites available.  The available sites closest to the T area are 59, 61, & 63.  These are PWSC sites.  There are also PWS sites along the golf course available starting at 69 and running down to 79.  A couple of these may already be booked.  All of these sites are pull through sites.

There are also more PWSC sites available further down closer to the river access, 50 – 54.  48A & B are also available, but only for the weekend.  Sunday check out is required for 48A & B.  The lower “tent” area is also available but they are planning on doing some work down there over the winter and the person I talked to isn’t sure what that may involve.  Barb Gossman’s comment about the area is that there are more mosquitos down there due to the proximity to the pond.

Some of the amenities available are a pool, playground, laundry, store, showers, recreation hall, golf course (if you can call it that), access to the Canada trail, reasonable distance to Transfer Beach at Ladysmith, and not much further to Chemainus.

People wanting to come need to book as soon as possible if you want the full hook-ups.  You will need to contact them at 250-245-3227.  You will need to be prepared to pay when you book, full price if staying 1 to 3 nights, ½ price if you are staying 4 – 7 nights, and 25% if staying 8 nights or longer.  Tell them you are part of the Church of the Advent group.

If you are not familiar with the resort, you can talk to Neil or Terry Mikkonen or Barb Gossman.  There are others who have stayed there before as well.

Rondalyn does have some cabins and two cottages.  To find out if any of these are available you will need to contact the resort.  The cabins have minimal facilities.  The cottages have more.

Please let me know if you have booked and what site.
