Bishop Anna, Jenny, and nine members of the Diocese of Islands and Inlets are currently in Whitehorse to teach and participate in the Provincial School of Congregational Development. The Provincial School for Congregational Development is a collaborative initiative of the six dioceses in the Ecclesiastical Province of BC and the Yukon that supports lay and clergy leaders by offering training in congregational and organization development, while facilitating relationship-building amongst leaders throughout the Province. Members and clergy from St. Philip, Cedar, Church of the Advent, Colwood, and St. Mary, Nanoose Bay and St. Edmund, Parksville are among the participants in the school this year.

The school is hosted by a different diocese at each gathering, and this week Christ Church Cathedral in Whitehorse has welcomed members from across the province. The members of the Diocese of Islands and Inlets are pictured in front of one of the beautiful stained glass windows in the cathedral by Ted Harrison.
