2021 Church Calendars
The Anglican Edition Canadian Church Calendar is now available for purchase. We have a limited supply and they are $6 each. Please email or call Caroline to let her know if you would like one. The pictoral theme of the calendar this year is entitled "Homecoming." "We love these places for the memories they hold, for the lives that have passed through them. They are 'thin places' of polished wood, stained glass, and the smell of prayer books and dust. When we allow them to be, they are icons, porous to the holy, and when we are away from them, we often long for them. It's like longing for home. In 2020, we were away from them for a long time. And though that didn't prevent our serving and celebrating in new and vibrant ways, many of us felt something like the longing of the Babylonian exile, when the focus changed from temple to test, from ritual to word. As it turns out, that exile was a time of transformation. And there was, in the end, a homecoming." |

Booking Seats
Thank you again for remembering to call the office ahead of time to book your seats for the 8:30 and 10:30 services. It's important for us to know the numbers that are attending. Initially we asked everyone to call in on either Monday or Tuesday morning. We are now expanding that window. Each week that you would like to attend church, please call the office anytime before Thursday at 10 am and leave a message. Thank you! |

Farewell for Bishop Logan McMenamieWe tried to wait out COVID, but it seems the party must go on! - Friday, October 23, 2020 Before COVID came upon us in March 2020, we had planned a large retirement celebration for Bishop Logan for the end of April, but we unfortunately had to cancel the event. As we begin to ease into the fact that this pandemic-life is around to stay for a while, we’re applying some creativity to how we celebrate and say thank you to Bishop Logan for his ministry and years of service to the diocese...
