Easter services

Apr  9 –  Easter Sunday 6 AM (on Lagoon beach),
8.30 AM (chapel) and 10 AM (main church)

Sunrise Service
This year, we hope to hold an Easter sunrise service at 6 AM on the Esquimalt Lagoon Beach in Colwood, near the bridge, depending on the weather. It will be a short service of about 30 minutes, at which we will light the Easter fire. Wrap up warmly. If it is rained out, we'll email you to let you know, so watch your emails early on Easter Sunday morning.

Easter Egg Hunt
Don't forget that on Easter Sunday, in the hall, following the 10:00 service, there will be an Easter Egg hunt for children in the fenced area of the garden outside the St John's Room. Thank you to the Tyler family for organising this for us!

Hot Cross Buns
Each family is asked to bring in some Hot Cross Buns for Easter Sunday - please make sure the buns are sliced and buttered!

Bring daffodils on Easter Sunday!

It is our tradition to decorate our Easter Cross with flowers.

This year, we are following the English tradition of decorating for Easter with daffodils!

Please bring daffodils on Easter Sunday to decorate the cross. A few daffodils will be available for those who need them.

Garage Sale Update

Garage Sale Update

Saturday May 6

- The sign-up sheets for working at the Garage Sale are now out on the entranceway table.
- Please consider how and when you can help with the set-up, sale day and/or clean-up and add your name and phone number to the appropriate spaces on the sheets.
- You can contact Mary Wills or Linda Van Sickle if you have any questions.
- Posters for the sale are printed and on the narthex table. Please take as many as you need, and indicate on the sheet beside the posters where you will be taking them.
- If you have items for the sale, please wait until the week before (Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 5) to bring them to the church. If you need to bring them in earlier, you can  contact Mary Wills or Joan Hoffman to make drop-off arrangements.
- Please note that we are not accepting clothing, TVs, computers, large furniture, mattresses, or books, records and movies (you can save these last three for the Book Sale in October).
- Thank you for all the ways you’re able to assist and contribute to make this event a success.
