Every year, around the middle of June, our Parish hosts a Strawberry Tea & Craft Fair.
The first tea was started in 1984, by the Young Moms Group and was held in St John the Baptist Hall. After the congregation moved to the Church of the Advent we continued the Tea and also included a Craft Fair consisting of arts and crafts created by local Crafters. This has become a Parish event, involving many parishioners.
The traditional Strawberry Tea is held in a colourful Tea Room setting. Guests enjoy freshly made strawberry shortcake, along with a beverage served in china tea cups and have the opportunity to enjoy, and purchase, crafts from the various Crafters.
