Strawberry Tea a Success! Our 38th TEA was held on June 24th We especially want to thank the many parishioners who came out to help. You were all amazing and we so appreciated your help. We served 251 shortcakes; we had 9 crafters; Trudine & her 11 guides and our parish teens all did an excellent job at bussing and serving. We thank Pearl Veillette for once again providing us with her beautiful roses from her garden. We thank the amazing team of Carolyn Hamar & Sue Hamblin who took care of the dish washing for hours! We thank our local stores (Quality Foods, Thrifty’s, & Fairways) who generously donated $400 worth of gift cards. A final large THANK YOU from our core team to all our parishioners – Kathy M.; Bev S.; Darleen T.; Barb G.; Mary W.; Linda V S.; & Liz G. Our net profit was $3986.35. |

Forward Day by Day Daily Devotions August to October 2023Pick your booklet up in the Narthex from Sunday 23rd July onwards They say that it takes eight to ten weeks for a new habit to form. How about making a habit of reading scripture every day, and spending some time thinking and praying about it? For those of us who read scripture daily, it has helped us to feel close to God and helped us to understand the Bible better. There's no better way to start the day than a cup of coffee and the Word of God! Forward Day by Day devotion booklets for the three months August to October will be available in the Narthex for you to pick up free of charge from Sunday 23rd July. What is Forward Day by Day? Why not go deeper in your prayer life and encounter the Bible in a new way? If you need to pick up your copy at a different time, please contact Debby in the parish office 1 250-474-3031 or email her at admin@colwoodanglican.ca |
